These stones are a blue to blue-green mineral of aluminum and copper which is generally prized as a gemstone in its polished blue form. The name Turquoise was derived from the word Turc (Turkish in French) as it was transported to Europe through Turkey. These stones are considered as a secondary mineral deposits from circulating water. Our range appears as an opaque, granular vein running trough a host rock.
