Additional Details

TCSR ensure the safety of the circuit breaker circuit. Basically, the circuit drives a small current through the circuit breaker trip coil and monitors it continuously. In the event of a tripping circuit or trip coil circuit failure, the relay detects and actuates its output contacts. A delay of approximately 400 ms is introduced to prevent a false indication during the operation of the circuit breaker. A test button is provided to test the relay contacts for tripping and alarm in a healthy state only. The monitoring facility of two trip coils with independent power supply is provided in an enclosure.

Application: 

The trip circuit monitoring relay (TCSR) is used to monitor the quality of the trip circuit of the circuit breaker (circuit breaker), circuit breaker trip coil, and circuit breaker power supply. Monitoring of two trip coil circuits must be performed by a single TCSR.
