This range of units has been specially designed for use with passenger lifts where silent operation is essential. Bronze sleeve bearings are used on the Worm shaft for greater silence of operation along with a ball bearing for taking the thrust in both directions on the Worm shaft. Angular contract ball bearings/bush bearings are used on the Wheel shaft for grater load carrying capacity.

The wheel Shaft is of specially large diameter and the extentension is made to meet the customers’ requirement. It is accurately ground on the sheave diameter and on the extension for the outboard bearing.
