Vacuum Pump generates high broadband Noise when the gas is discharged and released to the atmosphere. Further, if it appears to be 'wet' gas associated with entrapped liquid in the abandoned gas, it also poses environment problem.
The noise associated with abandoned gas is reduced through series of the development chamber and thereby weakening the acoustic energy in the gas. By joining the multi-chamber reactive silencer with absorptive section and a separator assembly both the noise reduction and the entrapped liquid division could be achieved in the original compact machine.
The multi-louvred tangential turn vane stainless steel spacer device creates a spiral motion for the gas, and the entrapped liquid is departed due to the centrifugal action of the gasses. As there are no moving parts in the separator assembly no mechanical wear out of the metal is anticipated.
