The Sand Mattress are flat mattresses made up of P.P. high strength Woven Geotextile, which are filled with sand. HI-TECH has specially developed these mattresses for few projects. The sand mattress avoid the erosion of bed and banks of the rivers. These sand mattress can also be laid below the Polymer rope Gabions for avoiding the washing of fines and to reduce the velocity of water to below scour velocity.

They are very easy to install and can be installed in flowing waters mechanically.
