Basically these are of oil-immersed, rotary vane type pumps. The rotor, with two spring loaded vanes, is mounted eccentric in the stator body. As the rotor rotate, the vanes sweep the crescent shaped air space twice in each revolution. These are being manufactured in 12 different models to cover the suction capacity ranging from 1 cfm to 350 cfm (30 L/min. to 10,000 L/min). Single Stage Oil Sealed Vacuum Pumps are capable to develop ultimate pressure of 0.05 mm Hg., while two stage oil Sealed Vacuum Pumps are capable to develop ultimate pressure of 0.005 mm Hg.
