In large Foundries and Steel Plants quite often, the Melting Platform & the Laboratory are removed from each other distance-wise. These distances could be as much as a few hundred metres. In such a case, the Melter would like to know the analysis of the melt to decide how much of alloying elements to add. The RTDS enables the immediate display of all required elements just at the Melting Platform. Our Metavision Spectrometers have also the facility to calculate the amount of Alloy Additions to be made and this too can be displayed on the RTDS. If there are more than one display needed for the results, this too can be handled by the Metal Power RTDS. Wireless Transmission is also available up to 500 metres.
