The belt type magnetic separators are designed to separate the sponge iron from the mixture of char & sponge/. Light magnetic properties from bauxite powder/ various minerals / fertilizers / etc. The machine incorporates two conveyor belts, i. E. One carrying the mix of raw material fed uniformly through a motorized vibrating feeder. Another belt parallel to the main belt incorporates inverted magnetic plate and attracts the iron on the magnet which is separated as soon as the it leaves the magnetic field. No electrical supply and maintanance for magnet. Both the belts are driven by separate geared motor coupled directly to the roll. Belt speed will be decided as per the application.
