Bulk vessels are for bulk loads, e. G. Grain, ore, coal, oils, ash etc. Bulkers have large holds into which the bulk load is poured and unloaded at the destination bulk carrier and tankers for transportation of pulverized and fine granular materials. All bulk carrier vessels tanker can discharge the contents by hydraulic or by augur type discharge system. Bulkers are with a single deck, top side tanks and hopper side tanks and intended to primarily carry dry cargo in bulk; an ore carrier; or a combination carrier. Some consider for oil, chemical, or LPG tankers to be carriers of liquid bulk.
