The edges are serrated – not the routine straight edges with rounded corners. The label imparts a customized and premium look.
The label has a diffused area on which a bar code (or any other information) may be thermal printed. The diffused area allows the bar code to be scanned effectively. The problem was that the reflectivity of the holographic background interfered with the scanner, and did not allow the scanner to get a good read of the bar code. With this development we have struck the right balance between the reflectivity and the security of the hologram. And the problem of having a full holographic label with bar codes has now been solved.
