This light duty model is suitable for mass production work. The bed of the machine is seasoned artificially. Machine is driven by v-belt, which ensures proper coefficient of friction and reduces slip enabling optimum power transmission. Counter frame is located upright which occupies less floor space and provides an ease for shifting of v-belts. Power is transmitted to the main spindle by v-belts providing 8 different speeds. Main spindle of the machine is supported on taper roller bearings, which provides proper axial and radial load distribution. Headstock spindle is made up of special British alloy steel and has been properly balanced to ensure vibration free running. Spindle has been precisely ground to close tolerances. The versatility of the machine can be considerably improved by the use of a variety of auxiliary equipment and attachments supplied as extra.
