For optimum use of Die springs always observe the following:
Select springs carefully at the stage of designing.
Use a guide pin, a locating bore as a guide - this is essential for springs having a free length/Diameter ratio exceeding 3.5
Assure perpendicularity of the springs to the supporting and compression surface.
Apply a minimum preload of 5% of the free length.
Use longer springs at lower loadings where possible.
Never compress springs beyond the maximum deflection.
Always check spring holder heights and working strokes of moving elements after die tools have been reground.
Protect springs from corrosion.
Do not exceed the working temperature at 250 o C up to 120 o C no significant load reduction occurs.
Do not replace one spring at a time , instead adopt a programmed maintenance procedure.
Do not alter the physical characteristics i.e. cutting or grinding of springs i.e. cutting or grinding.
We are one of the prestigious Manufacturers & Exporters of various products used in the segments of Dies & Moulds such as Ball Bearing Cages, Poly Urethane Rod, Die Springs etc. These are appreciated for close tolerance & less wear.
