Weighing is introduced in a existing Crane of any lifting capacity by mounting the equalizing pulley on a weighing platform supported on one of more loadcell of suitable capacity.The weight of the material lifted by the crane is sensed by the weighing platform through equalizing pulley and the weight is displayed digitally. The system is calibrated depending upon the number of falls. The weighing system can be introduced with minimum modification of the existing crane.
