Impact Tester Conduits

Impact Tester Conduits is measured by dropping a guided weight from a predetermined height over a cylindrical striker placed on the surface of the conduit and observing for signs of failure of the conduit under this impact. The striker is mounted at the lower end of a guide rod that is held loosely inside a supporting block which can be moved over two vertical rods for changing the dropping height. The falling weight is suspended from a spring loaded catch mounted on the supporting block and can be released manually to allow it to fall and strike the upper face of the striker. The mass of the falling weight is 1 kg but can be changed to 2 kg by fixing a ring shaped add-on weight over it.
