High speed tripping relays are of the electromechanical type, with attracted armature, used in the control and alarm circuits. The relays are designed as plug-in elements with a plug-in base of 16 terminals per element. Each element is encased in a transparent molded polycarbonate dust cover. There is no wiring between the relay element and the rear terminals of the base. This results in a compact and reliable design. The radio-metal is used for magnetic components such as the frame, the core and the breech of the relay to ensure good electrical performance. The contacts are phosphor bronze and nickel-plated. The contact points are made of pure silver. The use of these materials ensures very good contact performance. Each element can be offered as - 3 NO + 1 NC or 2 NO + 2 NC to specify when ordering.
