Graded menthone 99 offered features two stereoisomerisms, Menthone and ISO Menthone with the isolation carried out using fractional distillation process of ISO mentone is done from de-mentholised Peppermint oil, thus resulting in a material that is 100% natural with no synthetic process is used. The extract has purity of L-Menthone of 70-95% and Isomenthone of 3-28% with appearance of colorless to pale yellow liquid at 20 degrees. Having a herbal, minty, sweet and woody odor, the other properties of the extract include having Optical Rotation of -2°to°c-8°, Relative Density of 0.889 to 0.900, Refractive Index of 1.440 to 1.459 and Solubility of 1:4 part soluble in Ethyl Alcohol 70%.
