This type of coupling comprises two parts having curved/crowned external teeth as well as two outer sleeves lined with internal spur teeth. The optimally designed tooth profile of the coupling provides maximum area of contact between external and internal teeth even in misaligned conditions, thus assuring better flexibility.
At the end of the coupling hubs, special ‘O’ rings are placed with the objective of eliminating lubricant leaks as well as entry of dust inside the coupling.
