It comprises a hydraulic pump inside the container, with the cylinder, the piston and a piston rod.

By actuating the piston upward, the spray fluid in the container is sucked into the cylinder through a set of ball valve and then pressurized during the downward stroke.

The pressurized fluid is then allowed through a nozzle and atomized into fine droplets.
