Additional Details

External gears are made with a tool that moves forward towards the component axis. We also employ Internal Gear Cutters with very small diameter and few teeth for production of external gears. These external gears are designed such that the cylindrical gears have straight teeth parallel to the axis, with the teeth situated on the outer rim. They are more frictionless than internal gears and are somewhat noisy, and facilitate the rotary motion between parallel shafts. It has two parts - the pinion, the smaller gear, and the wheel, which also has external teeth. The pinion drives the wheel, and the corresponding driving and driven shafts rotate in opposite direction. These external gears are used in various industrial sectors like coal industry, mining, steel plant, paper industry etc.
