DC electro magnetic shunt brake is design to withstand a large number of switching operation per hour. Minimum number of pivots ensure minimum wear and tear of moving parts. The brake is operated on 110 volt/230 volt DC.
Electro magnetic secured directly on the brake rod. The magnetic core is made of specially selected steel. The coil is varnish with insulating material and to protect to moisture. The brake shoes are fitted with best quality brake lining. The compression spring are made of best quality spring steel and also properly heat treated to give correct hardness. The compressive springs provided the necessary working pressure to apply the brake when power is switch off. Exerts a force against the spring pressure and release the brake when power is supplied to magnet.
