These travel through the intrinsic conducting system to the heart muscle
The myocardial muscle fibers are stimulated to contract and thus stimulate systole
Electrodes placed at specific points on the skin to measure electrical
Electrodes on different sides of the heart measure the activity of its different parts
The display of the ECG indicates the overall rhythm of the heart and weaknesses in different parts of the heart muscle.
