’Drambuie has an illustrious history. It was originally the personal drink of Prince Charles Edward Stuart (more commonly known as Bonnie Prince Charlie) who unsuccessfully attempted to overthrow the House of Hanover and restore the British throne to the Stuarts back in 1745.
