Constantan Wire Mesh comprises of high surface firmness and provides large resistance to oxidation and creep rupturing. It is wrought by implementing the stainless steel alloy technique. It obtains high strength through precipitation toughening, cold treatment and solid solution toughening.
The constant wire mesh has large strain sensitivity that is comparatively insensitive to strain and temperature. It is adequately resistive and obtains appropriate resistance. It has lower temperature coefficient of resistance and exhibits regular drift at temperature levels more than 65oC.Constantan is commonly implemented in the heating equipments.
