The term 'Cold Shrink' is applied t o materials, which are capable of shrinking without raising the material above the ambient temperature of it's immediate surroundings. The Cold Shrink Accessories are supplied in factory expanded conditions & placed on a removable core. The removing of core when they are positioned over cable cores cause the shrinking.
