As a steam stop valve it's main use is to control the flow and pressure level of steam and heated water vapor. It's swiveling valve disc and steel cir clip ensure uniform wear and long seating life. Special alloy of trim used is highly heat resistant and non-corrode up to temp of 400 c. A much better pressure tightness is ensured by the flat face of valve and by the seat lapped on flat surface.     Built-in bonnet locking device at no extra cost.
    Seating under the bonnet permits the repacking of stuffing box when the valve is fully opened.
    Bronze body castings to Indian Boiler regulations.
