We have developed a very good braking system for our traction unit. Finns are provided on brake power pack, giving the assembly strength and cooling, enabling it to give the same braking force even after prolonged continuous working of lift. We provide 2 coils of 110 V DC each that can be connected in parallel for 110V DC power supply or in series for 220V DC power supply. Our  brake system uses only one tension spring for both brake arms. It gives equal braking force on both sides and enabling it to increase or decrease by adjusting one nut only. The brake power pack is firmly mounted on base of the machine and there is no overhanging fixing, giving the brake assembly a very sturdy fit and also a very compact structure. We have provided in built brake release mechanism that is designed in such a way that brake can be released temporarily by pulling the handle and applied again automatically when hand is taken away. Moreover our brake assembly comes with the brake arm mounting studs that are overhanging. This has been provided with a decorative support so that brake arms assembly are very rigid and hence brake settings are not disturbed over very long period.
