Asbestos cloth is a fabric to form pliable mineral textile with high tensile strength and high resistance to heat, flame, chemicals and weather. It is made from 100% pure longer Spinning Fiber of asbestos. The cloth is used in manufacturing of annealing and fire smoothing blankets, belts for conveying heated objects through oven and in dryers such as blue print machines, covers for rollers on laundry flat-work ironers, for laminating cloth in plastic parts covering heat insulation, curtains for dryers, welding booths, shields to protect workmen from fire, all types of safety clothing, electro cells, filter cloths, forge furnace hood mills scale fenders, wrapping for sheet glass and conveyor rollers and many more other products.

Many maritime industrial and utility power plant also require Asbestos superior quality cloth to serve as a permanent protection and fireproof jacket over pipe and boiler insulation. Underground and overhead piping both steam and refrigeration are often protected by a jacket of Asbestos superior quality cloth. It is available to suit diversified uses. Customer design weaves may also be supplied. The following are the varieties of cloth.

Non - Metallic

Made to conform D.G.S. & D. and IS standards specification.
Sizes: Thickness: 1.5 mm
Width: 101 CMS to 107 CMS
Packing: In rolls of 50 to 55 mts. Average roll weight - 50 to 55 kgs.
Applications: It is most suitable for Mfg. Asb. Hand Gloves, Aprons and Leg Guards (weight length ratio is fantastic. )

Non - Metallic

Size: Thickness: 2.0 mm, 3.0 mm, 5.0 mm and 6.0 mm
Width: 101 to 107 cm
Packing: In rolls. Average roll weight - 50 to 55 kgs.

Metallic
Made from Brass / Zinc / S.S wire reinforced yarn.
Sizes: Thickness: 1.5 mm to 6.0 mm
Width: 101 to 107 CMS.
Packing: In rolls. Average roll weight - 50 to 55 kgs.

Asbestos Hand Gloves
Hand gloves are made from very fine variety of Asbestos superior quality cloth which meets D.G.S.&D. specifications no. MISC/81-C and IS-4687-1968. There are lined with flanel and are designed to be soft, pliable and flexible enough to allow free movement of the fingers. superior quality asbestos gloves provide protection from heat.
Sizes : 12” and above.
Application: They are used by workers, whose hands and arms come in contact with hot surfaces, acids, acytylene welding and cutting.
