The Arcozinc Silicate Primer we offer is a two component self-curing solvent based inorganic zinc silicate primer. These are extensively use in extreme industrial corrosive environments and at marines. Moreover, these form tough abrasive films and further provide excellent galvanic protection to the steel by removing sub-film corrosion. The characteristics of these coatings are as follows:

• Chlorinated Rubber Polyurethane increases anti-corrosive properties
• Excellent resistance against water, salt water and solvents
• For critical corrosive conditions, these can be used as primer coat systems or single coat systems
• Can be over coated with various kinds of anti-corrosive coatings like Epoxy

• (OFT): 50-60 microns / coat

• Coverage: 6 - 7 sq. mtr. / hr. / coat

• Dry heat resistance: up to 400°C

• Drying time: touch dry3-4 hrs. full cure-3 days

• Over coating time: after 48 hours

• Density at 25°C :1,90-2,25 gm/cc

• Mixing ratio: 40 to 60 (hydrolysate to zinc oust by weight)

• Volume solids : 60 - 65% dry film thickness

• Pot life: 2-4hours
