Our clients can acquire from us an array of Arcoflake (Epoxy based Glass flake Coating) that is two component reinforced with micronised glass flakes epoxy polyamine cured and a solvent-less high gloss extra chemical resistant coating for airless spray as well as brushing purposes. The different characteristics of this product are mentioned below:
 

• Offers a tough impermeable barrier suited for steel (pipeline internal & external, ship, Tank internal 8 external, structural coating etc) and concrete surfaces with excellent adhesive properties
• Provides extended performance of protective coating due to dispersed glass flakes through the coating that prevents the ingress of chemical solutions and water vapour. These glass flakes form a tortuous path of platelets within the coating film, which is resistant to chemical, moisture and vapour
• It prevents cracking and peeling as glass flakes provide a thermal stabilization layer in the protective coating. This immensely reduces the risk of cracking and peeling of the coating because of thermal shock. Due to the surface tension effect of the screened particles of glass hake a superior adhesion is achieved
• Provides enhanced resistance to wear & tear resistance as glass flakes increase the hardness of epoxy resin coatings, offering higher resistance to surface wear
• Also provides appropriate resistance to mane, aqueous and several chemical corrosive & abrasion quantities
• Has low maintenance and is ease to repair, making it an asset to offshore platforms. If there is any heavy damage, the coating can be simply repaired by cleaning the damaged area and feathering the surrounding coating and recoating to attain the initial long lasting protection
