Tubular air diffusers are designed for maximal strength at minimum positive buoyancy. Although tubes are usually not as efficient as discs, tubular air diffusers are often the most economical choice of all diffusers, particularly the OD90mm diameter x 1 m because of their relatively large size & high air capacity compared to disc diffusers. They require fewer header pipes, less support stands and less installation time than disc diffusers.
