The Absolute Pressure Gauge works on the principle of aneroid barometer; measures the pressure acting on an evacuated pressure sensing element i. E measures the pressure against zero atmospheric pressure. The sensing element is properly linked to a pointer movement mechanism over a printed dial marked in absolute pressure scale.
