A child arrives in this world due to its parents. If there is anyone who is the benefactor of a person for sure, it’s the parents. Because, they are the ones who were responsible for bringing it in the world and it is no new fact, that there is no love greater than the love parents have for their child. Then, what is it, which drives parents to kill its own child? Here, I am talking about the issue pertaining to the so many killings which have been committed recently, in the name of honour. Yes, I am talking about cases when parents murder their children because they have chosen a person belonging to the same clan. Surely a parent won’t kill his child until he is fully convinced about the righteousness of his decision. Then, the real question is on the psychology of a parent when he connives to kill his own child.

India got freedom in 1947. Even after 61 years women / female community in India has not received any freedom and there is no guarantee of Individual freedom for the female sex. They are always dominated by the Male members and the Male Community at large. Women are not united and even if they are united their voices are neglected.

Just like in Western world, the children are to be left free to determine their future and individuality should be guaranteed for the youth. Once they are employed and look after themselves let them be free from the bondage of family and community and caste respects. Only then there will be a freedom from Caste and freedom from Male chauvinists and Male domination. Asa individual let them look after their future. The parent’s role should be of a supportive role and not a decision making role then.

A conservative Indian is very much attached to the false pride of their identities based on Caste, Religion and Community. We are very much bonded to this false prestige. Only when we come out of all these India can improve and the ‘Love your neighbor’ preached by Islam, Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism will come true. ’Love” is the basic for Bagwat Gita, Bible or Quaran. But we do just opposite of it.

Hinduism adores Deities and Goddesses. Should we harm women who are considered to be Holy? Female gender is so great only for religious purposes in the various religions? Why not we give them the honour in the real life?
