The 6.3 Mtr Earth Station Antenna is designed for High Structural Stability, POINTING and TRACKING accuracies. The Antenna Feed System consisting of corrugated conical Horns, and form shaped Cassegrain optics with dual shaped reflector and Sub reflector .
The Antenna Reflector consists of 16 no’s of panels, 16 no’s Trusses (All made from High strength Aluminum Alloy extrusion and sheets) and Central hub (Steel Galvanised). The Hub is spacious to accommodate the Receive Electrics like LNAs etc.The Antenna Mount is an Elevation over Azimuth type with 1200 rotation in Azimuth through a King post design. The Antenna can be rotated in Azimuth 1800 in two positions. As an option, full 3600 rotation in Azimuth can be supplied The Antenna meets latest spec’s of ITU-RS-580.
