1. When starting, the minimum pressure valve remains closed to a predefined level and the opening is made to maintain a minimum pressure in the air-oil separator. This ensures a pressure for lubricating the compressor reduces oil foaming and air-oil separator element.

2. When the check valve is turned off, it is closed to prevent return flow to the compressor.
