Our Compact Vacuum Filters is also designed with a perforated top is placed at the bottom of the dirty coolant tank. The pump sucks the coolant through the filter paper laid on top of vacuum chamber, leaving dirt on the surface of the filter paper. The suction pump generates vacuum increasing the thickness of the dirt layer & hence achieves finer filtration. After the preset level of vacuum is reached, the working is broken temporarily by opening actuated by-pass valve. Part of dirt-laden filter paper is pulled out to be replaced by fresh filter paper. Dirt is dumped in a bin while dirty filter paper is wound on a shaft. The working is the same as that of the hydraulic vacuum filters, only the working in this case is totally pneumatic and automatic. It can be used for fine filtration of coolants used in grinding, honing, gun drilling & component washing applications.
