Sakthi Fruits had very humble beginnings in the year 1992 as an innovative rural industry. The company pioneered the large-scale cultivation of papaya in rural Erode in South India. This way, it provided sustenance and a viable business model to the local farmers. Today, Sakthi Fruits manufactures, distributes and exports high quality tutti-frutti (sweetened, processed papaya bits), a wide variety of jams, synthetic vinegar and sauces. Only the finest quality raw materials are hand-picked from our very own affiliate farms and manufactured in hi-tech processing units using latest technologies under strict quality controlled conditions. From day one, our approach to the business has been all about holistic growth and development. At the grassroots level, we protect the interests of farmers by offering a fair price for their produce, at all times. From the consumer viewpoint, we offer quality products at very competitive prices. Recently, we have added a range of new products like fruit jams, a variety of sauces and vinegar to our kitty, thereby adding more value for our consumers.

P.Thirumoorthy MANAGING DIRECTOR

Graduate in Chemistry, having an Experience of  27 years, Exposures  in the field of processing Edible Oil, Fruits and Vegetable, in depth knowledge in Food Safety aspects and cultivation of organic papaya.

R&D over processing fruits and efficient agricultural methods thus bringing up quality  from root level, and addition of new products are his additional responsibilities.He is an active Member (PP and PHF) of  Rotary Club and did many social services. Contributed remarkably in Polio Eradication  and tree plantation. He is Treasurer, in EEDISSIA, an industries association .He played main role in bringing together all food industries in Erode District and making them aware of food safety aspects. He helped many industries to obtain FSSAI certification.

S.Kanagasabapathy ADMIN.DIRECTOR

Having experience more than 30 years in the cultivation and grading of fruits and vegetables. Labour welfare and finance management are his additional responsibilities.On time deliveries, quality of final product and managing seasons come under his purview.

P.Chandrasekaran CHAIRMAN

An Engineering Graduate with Honours , have brought aeronautical quality in food production and automation of processing. He is engaged in training of personnel and hygienic maintenance of Factory premises.He evolved environmental friendly processing of Fruits and Vegetables and made the first ever fruit processing factory , to  obtain M/S TNPCB consent. His additional responsibilities are  Marketing, sales and Exports.

Playing key role in entrepreneurship development programs organized by Educational  Institutions.

FOOD SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY

  • Establish, implement, and maintain a food safety management system in accordance with ISO 22000:2005 standard.
  • Comply with local and international regulations of food safety requirements.
  • Establish relevant measurable food safety objectives.
  • Update and renew the food safety management system through continuous improvement processes, audits and regular management reviews.
  • The whole organization is energized and empowered to make this FSMS system alive.
