There are many natural salts present in waten provide very good test to water and make it wholesome for drinking purpose. Very high contents^ of dissolved impurities, pollutants and diseases forming microorganisms make if unpotable for drinking purposes. Reverse osmosis and demineralization water systems remove them along with natural minerals. There are many natural salts required for our health and developments. However, very low contents of mineral salts in water make water undesirable for drinking purpose as per national and international water quality standard. Water received for RO plant is also slightly bitter in test and little acidic in nature (low pH) hence not testy, wholesome and able to satisfy the thirst because of reduction of salts. In these circumstances lost minerals can be recouped by adding external minerals through a mixture of required salts prepared scientifically. Similarly water received from surface sources like river, pond or reservoir etc after conventional treatment required to make wholesome, testier and more healthful drink by adding external minerals.
