Snap Disc Thermostat model ISQB has a soild machined aluminum outer body. The inside of this body has an engineering polymer insulation, so the body is electrically insulated. There is no current leakage and no need of any insulating sleeve. This Self-Resetting Thermal Protection Cut-outs thermostat operates on the principle of a snap disc bimetal thermostat. The wires are teflon insulated and can take high temperature. The contacts are made of solid silver for long life. The snap disc thermostat has a snap action opening and closing of contacts, which ensures no sparking or chattering. For ease of mounting, there are two slots, one at each end, by which it can be mounted on any flat surface with two M3 screws.
