Pipavav Shipyard Limited (PSL) came out with an Initial Public Offering in Sept 2009 and was listed on October 09, 2009 on Bombay Stock Exchange Limited ("BSE") and the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd ("NSE").On June 1, 2010, Honourable Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh, dedicated Pipavav Shipyard to the nation.On October 6, 2010, the Secretariat for Industrial Assistance, Ministry of Industry, Government of India ("SIA") granted Industrial Licence to the Company, allowing it to build inter alia Strategic/Defence Vessels.
