NILKANTH FERRO LIMITED, an ISO 9001:2008 certified organization, was incorporated on 22nd April , 2004, with its registered office at Bhiringi, Durgapur, West Bengal with the intention of manufacturing of high quality Ferro alloys. The company has been promoted by Mr. K.L Sharma , Mr. R.K Sharma, Mr. R.A Sharma and Mr. S.K Sharma. The promoter directors of the company has requisite experience in the eastern region steel and ferro alloys industry as large dealers and suppliers of coal, coke , minerals & metals, transportation logistics for bulk movement of materials and dealing in petroleum products and are successfully managing the company's operations since its incorporation in 2004.

In the year 2006 the company set up one number sub merged arc furnace of 7.5MVA for manufacturing of High Carbon Silico Manganese at Radhamadhavpur, Bankura, West Bengal. In pursuance of the objectives of the company expansion, a 2nd furnace of 9MVA was installed and the same commenced production in 2007. A 3rd furnace of 9MVA was also added and commissioned in Dec-2008. Installation of another 3 x 9 MVA furnaces is in the planning phase. Currently, with 3 operational furnaces, the company has the production capacity of 4000 MT per month. We are also a conversion partner of TATA Steel.
