Liquid Membrane is a single component, water based elastomeric polymerized bituminous emulsion with selected graded fine fillers and some additives 

Application Methodology:

Remove dust, flakes, or other foreign particles by scrubbing / wire brush / jet of dry air. Clean the surface mechanically or by grinding to make it smooth before application.

Prime the surface with the mixture of LM and water in 50:50 ratios. Slightly damp surface will help coating.

Allow it to dry till it becomes tacky.

Apply the first coat of L M by brush / roller / spray on primed surface.

Spread woven glass fiber mesh / non-woven polyester or glass fiber mat of 50 ±5 gsm over the first coat on the primed tacky surface with 50 mm overlap in both directions.

Advantages:

Water based product, cleaner technology, non toxic.

Easy to apply by brush / roller.

Cold applied and hence does not require heating.

High crack bridging property.

Good flexibility and does not crack on aging.

Prevents growth of fungus, algae.
