Other Details

The apparatus consists of a specially designed glass tube. Water in the sump tank is pumped using a Monobloc Centrifugal pump which passes through the control valve to the overhead tank. The overhead tank is fitted with the dye chamber whose needle extends to the glass tube. The dye penetration in the glass tube is controlled by a control valve provided to the dye chamber. A collecting tank is provided to measure the flow rate. Vinyl sticker scale is provided for the Piezometer for better readability. The whole arrangement is mounted on an Aesthetically designed sturdy frame made of MS tubes and NOVAPAN Board with all the provisions for holding the tanks and accessories.
