Ooshma software developed by us helps in predicting the performance parameter for a shell & tube heat exchanger. Based on the basic ‘shell tube’ heat exchanger equations that are validated through CFD & experimentation, it also helps in calculating temperature drop & pressure loss in the shell & tube heat exchanger at different flow conditions. The interface can also be customized for automobile Exhaust Gas Recirculator (EGR).

    Ooshma is developed with VB & OpenGL as front end
    The background logic has been developed in C++ & integrated with VB platform
    It plots trends of various performance parameters for shell & tube heat exchanger in Microsoft Excel
    Reports generated in Excel can also be used for further analysis
    It exports 2D drawings of components & sub assemblies in AutoCAD format .
