The Lincoln Electric Company has been actively involved in servicing the Indian Welding Industry over the last two decades through distributors.

In 1997, Lincoln Electric Company (India) Pvt Ltd was established with the Regional Office in Mumbai initially to support as Liaison office for the products exported to India from other entities of Lincoln. Ever since Lincoln Electric’s exports to India grew steadily, and the company established other Liaison Offices in Delhi & Chennai to extend its support thus increasing business in India and also increased support staff in major cities like Pune, Hyderabad.

Following years of strong growth in India the company built state of art manufacturing facility located at Mahindra World City, New Chennai and commenced its production from May 2009. Latest & advanced wire drawing technology & equipment are used for producing MIG & SUBARC Welding Wire meeting international standards. This facility is the largest wire manufacturing facility in India.

In addition, Lincoln India also has fully equipped Weld Tech Centre with Training Center to meet customer’s requirements in Demonstrations & Training.

The company employs over 125 staff in India, Employees are highly trained and motivated, productive and team oriented and embrace the goals of the Company to meet and exceed customer expectations.
