In 2004, Lapmaster Wolters opened a subsidiary in India to be closer to the customers. Since then, Lapmaster Wolters India not only takes care of sales and service but also builds Single Sided, Double Sided Lapping & Polishing machines such as LM15-3R to LM72-3R, Carlap2000, LSP6, LSP9 , Dual Face Fine Grinding Machine (DSG720) and LBVS (Ball Valve Lapping Machine) . Moreover, Lapmaster Wolters India gives Sales and Services support all machines of the Lapmaster Wolters Group.

As business grows, Lapmaster Wolters India decided to extend the building capacity to serve raising customer needs. In 2016 a new building has been found, offering state-of-the art conditions for our customers who visit us for business discussions, pre-acceptances and trainings. Thus, we are proud to have a fully air-conditioned assembly shop and job shop facility as well as offices and meeting rooms.

Our new factory is located in a Government organized manufacturing industrial estate (SIDCO), which is very close to Chennai International Airport and Outer Ring Road. With this move, we are now even closer to many of our customers such as major industrial estates and a lot of automotive companies.
