KV-LITE FP is based on proteinaceous material, which gives good sealing and excellent burn back resistance. KV-LITE FP-AR is formulated with hydrolyzed protein, fluorochemicals, metal salts, special stabilizers and preservatives to give the best performance even on Polar solvents. KV-LITE FP-AR forms a cohesive thin polymeric film at the interface between foam and the water soluble Polar solvents.
This thin polysaccharide film protects the foam without destruction of film by polar solvents. The polymeric film has self-sealing characteristics whereby the film, if disturbed gets regenerated by itself. KV-LITE FP-AR is suitable for both non-polar & polar, flammable solvent fires. Its unique properties are great foam stability, exceptional burn back resistance & high sealing power.
