Other Details
Kritan Enterprises believes in constant development and in close collaboration with athletes, raw material suppliers and test laboratories. Together we thrive to find the best possible playing conditions for every circumstance and to improve the quality, durability and ecology of our products, to meet the changing requirements of the artificial grass industry.
To improve the user friendliness of our products, we regularly test different prototypes of grass in our own test laboratory. In addition, we test our products in collaboration with the most important European research centres. Our products meet the strictest standards of FIFA, IAAF and ITF, as well as our domestic requirements.
Kritan Enterprises also participates actively in international development projects of the industry, for example the SOKRATURF - project in the years 2002-2004 and the MULTITURF -project in the years 2005 - 2008.
As the main outcome of the Multiturf -project, supported by the European Commission, Kritan Enterprisesdeveloped a movable, multi-purpose Interlock -artificial grass quality, a new heating system and a special artificial grass quality for small areas (schools, basketball, volleyball).
Kritan Enterprises is also one of the founding members of ESTO (European Synthetic Turf Organization), established in 2007. The organization promotes the commonly agreed rules of conduct and plays an active part in the development of standards and testing methods used in the artificial grass industry, as well as facilitating dialogue between different parties of the business.
The test laboratory at our modern production plant provides facilities for testing all the requirements set for artificial grass, such as: Resistance to UV -radiation, durability (Lisport), abrasion resistance and tensile strength. We constantly develop and test new grass systems in the laboratory. The test equipment is also used to compare different methods of maintenance, e.g. behavior of infill materials over time.
