Industrial multigrade filter / side stream filter is a deep bed filter consisting essentially of large grain media, such that large particles of suspended matter can readily penetrate the bed. Added to this coarse, media is a quantity of fine media of such a size that it can be accommodated within the coarse grains. The arrangement produces a filter bed with adequate pore dimensions for penetration of larger suspended particles. Dispersal of fine media throughout the bed also produces zones throughout the bed, which are conductive to flocculation of smaller particles and their retention.

Activated carbon filter unit is filled with different Iodine value activated carbon granular filtering media. Activated Carbon Filter will remove organic impurities, bad odors, color, free chlorine etc. from raw water. MGF/SSF/ACF units are made of MS/SS/FRP pressure vessel. The units  will give Specific flow rates up to 200 m3/hr service flow.
