Himalaya Machinery Private Limited (HMPL), started in 1973, is a heavy engineering Company with an enviable reputation for its forming machines.

HMPL specializes in Metal forming machine tools and Back-Hoe Dozers. The Company has a leadership position in the heavy thickness plate forming machines market.

The main plant of Himalaya Machinery Pvt Ltd. is located on approximately 4 acres (16000 sq. Meters) of prime industrial land in Vadodara. Earlier
known as Baroda, this city is well known as a cultural center and the capital of the erstwhile King Gaekwads state.

The G.I.D.C. Industrial area, Makarpura, where the plant is located, is approx. 8 kms from the airport and city railway station. There is a ready availability of infrastructure like transport, raw materials, skilled workforce, communications etc. This is primarily an engineering zone that supplies components, machinery, equipment etc. to some of the major industrial units in the country. Himalaya has been able to develop a number of good suppliers.

The production blocks have various special purpose machines, gear generators, turning, grinding, drilling and boring machines, CNC machine tools, and fabrication equipment. Own heat treatment shop, a small laboratory, extensive material handling facilities etc. are part of the set-up.
