We present exclusively designed Boat (Uru), which is a perfect amalgamation of natural beauty and impeccable craftsmanship. This traditional model of boat is hand-crafted from high quality wood and then the hull is painted to provide real look to the boat. This elegant and beautiful handicraft is used to be displayed in hotel lobby and other places. 

The Uru means a Big Boat, that is made in Beypore, a village in south Calicut. Since ancient time, these boats have been used by the Arabs as trading vessels, and even now are being manufactured and exported to Arab nations. A remarkable feature of Uru making is that, no technical data sheets or drawings and no electrical tools or heavy machines are used right from the beginning till end of the manufacturing process. The construction details are assigned on day-to-day basis to the assistants by the master carpenters. Another amazing feature is the pre-calculated water line that is marked around the hull, will be precisely on the water-level when the boat is launched.
